FGHR Recognizes SiLNoRF for Its Dedication to Defending Human Rights

By SiLNoRF Communications Unit In recognition of the relentless effort exerted in the area of human rights advocacy, the Funds for Global Human Rights (FGHR) on Thursday 15th June 2017 presented a Plaque in appreciation of the tremendous contributions of the Sierra Leone Network on the Right Food (SiLNoRF). It could be recalled that the FGHR funds after working in West Africa for almost 13 years decided to focus on other themes in other parts of the world. Therefore, its presence and activities in West Africa is to be reduced. Throughout its presence in West Africa, SiLNoRF is one of the most outstanding organizations that have contributed in no uncertain terms to the actualization of FGHR Vision and Mission. Student, Lecturer Northern Polytechnic Bags Africell Le 60 Million

Monday 19th June 217 saw more millionaires in the on-going Africell Ramadan show 2017 as Umaru C. Kamara a Lecturer at the Northern Polytechnic in Makeni with GSM number 077528368 won Le 50,000 Million. Kamara first won Le 500,000 when he chose moon15 out of 30 moons and later he was taken to the second stage of the show where he was asked to choose from the stars labelled 1 to 42. He chose Star 15 and the key to the door was given to him and he finally chose Box C. "Fight For The Right And Dignity Of Children" … VP Foh

Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Victor BockarieFoh has called on all Sierra Leoneans to fight for the right and dignity of children in the country.   He made this called in Kambia, the northern district of the country during the commemoration of 41st Day of the African Child that was organised by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Gender and Children's Affairs in collaboration with its international and local partners. Vice President Foh expressed government's commitment in protecting and upholding the right and dignity of children at all levels. He described the local theme for this year's celebration as timely, stating that it's time for all to come together and fight for the right and dignity of children across the country.
