The LICCSAL Business College held its annual matriculation ceremony on Friday 7th of April, 2017 at the college conference hall at Wilberforce in Freetown. The ceremony was graced by matriculates, students’ representatives, Heads of Departments, Assistant Director of Academic Affairs, Director of Academic Affairs, Registrar, Vice Principal and the Principal.  Rev. Philip Samuel Babatunde Godwin the registrar of the college gave the welcome address.  In his address, he gave a background of college and a minute silence was observed in loving memory of the late founder Rev. Victor Warne.  “Matriculation is the ceremony that explains when students legally enter the institution.  All this while, you all have been visiting students to the institution,’’ he further explained.   Rev. The Youth Empowerment Synergy (YES) summit that is organized by My Father's House Foundation (MFHF) with support from Africell will end today with an extra ordinary rewarding excellence YES 2017 awards and cocktail.  The summit which started from the 3rd April ends on the 7th April 2017 at the Miatta Conference Hall in Freetown. The week long events saw different stakeholders in the youth business such as the Minister of Youth Affairs, National Youth Commissioner among others gracing the event. Dr. Florence Baingana, Mental Health Officer at the World Health Organization in Sierra Leone has disclosed that 322 million people globally are suffering from depression and claims 800,000 lives annually. She made this statement at the Ministry of Health and Sanitation Conference Room on Wednesday 5th April 2017 during a press briefing.
