Maria Gives More Learning Materials To Grafton Polio School

Teachers as well as pupils of Maria Primary School, Polio Community (MPSPC) Grafton have benefited from another set of learning materials worth over three thousand Dollars from the Mariatu Kargbo Foundation. The donation which took place at the school ground on Monday 28 th November, 2016 was done by the Ibrahim Bangura, Maria’s Coordinator. While giving the items, I brahim Bangura recalled some of the donations Mariatu Kargbo Foundation had made to the school. He said Maria saw the need to come to the aid of those children because of the value and the potential they have. He pointed out that the best benefit the children could have is education. He called on all Sierra Leoneans to join them in support of the children. He said the school building project is on-going, and now they are at wall height, they need more support from others to complete the building. Salone Ranked 149 Out Of 183 In Youth Development Index

Sierra Leone has been ranked 149 out of 183 in this year 2016 Global Youth Development Index (GYDI). This was disclosed to the press by the Minister of Youth Affairs Bai Mahmoud Bangura during a press conference yesterday at the ministry. He said with 1.8 billion people between the ages of 15 and 29, the world is home to more young people today than ever before. 2016 Miss IPAM Enid Jones-Boston has expressed her deepest appreciation to all those who made her what she is today and also expressed her determination to clinch the AVY Miss University 2016. The second year student reading Business Administration said she felt good because it was a dream come true and moreover she is proud of the fact that she made herself and everyone that believed in her proud.
