In continuing rewarding customers… Western Union 'Better Life' Promo Kicks Off

Western Union (WU) the number one money transfer service in the world as a global company with over 500,000 locations worldwide connected through over 200 countries, on 1st April, 2017 commenced the Western Union 'Better Life' promotion. This is in continuation of rewarding its numerous customers in the country who receive and send money through Western Union from Union Trust Bank (UTB) and First International Bank (FIBank).
Western Union Advertising Agent, Charter House Managing Director, Osman Conteh said that this time round, Western Union through Union Trust Bank and FiBank is running the promotion that will offer customers a chance to make their lives a little better than it already is, adding, "by giving them some fundamental equipment and logistics which they could use to start a small business".
Osman Conteh disclosed that the objective of the promotion is to offer an alternative source of income to customers; help make lives of customers little better and reward them for their brand loyalty. He said the promotion will last for six weeks from 1st April to 11th May, 2017.
He recalled that in 2015 the Win A Kitchen Makeover where customers of Western Union were given a kitchen makeover by winning a cooker, deep freezer, microwave and blender. He stated that in 2016  customers won the Win A Home Makeover, an LED TV and a home theatre system and in 2016 at the Western Union End of Year Promotion of the Shopping Spree as one hundred and twenty customers won nationwide shopping vouchers and shopping spree at the Choithram Supermarket, Wellington among other promotions of rewarding loyal customers.
He stated that Western Union has several agents and sub-agents in Sierra Leone and to participate in the ongoing promotion, customers should send and receive money through Western Union from UTB and FiBank, entering the draw is only upon completing a transaction during the promotion and a grand draw will be held at the end of the six weeks promotion period.
According to Managing Director, a manual draw will be held in the presence of the media and agent representatives on television station wherein all promotion entry coupons will be placed in a rotating drum manually and winning coupons will be read out loud and winners will be immediately be contacted and informed of their prizes and when to be collected.
He further reiterated that as of the 1st April, 2017 any Western Union customer who receives or sends money with UTB and FiBank would be given a coupon  in which their the individual details would be written, adding, "keep any coupon you receive from UTB and FiBank safely for the grand draw as it will be required." 

The winning prizes include; sets of laptops and printers, generators and sewing machines, sewing machine stands and fabric as start-up kit for a better life.

S ierra Leone finest GSM operator Africell has presented Le 242,265,000 to lucky winners in the on-going “Africell 3G ++ Ramadan Show’’.
