THE BATTLE LINE IS DRAWN... ANDREW KEILI POISED FOR SLPP FLAGBEARER

By Mohamed Jaiah
Now that the Supreme Court has thrown the matter between Dr. Bu- Buaki Jabbi and the SLPP out of court, the membership of the party has finally slated July 29, 30 and 31 as the “D Day” for the long awaited convention in which 19 aspirants will vie for the flagbearership of the party.

All 19 aspirants are very much resourceful to the party, though opinion poll among members of the party and Sierra Leoneans both at home and abroad view Andrew K. Keili as the most suitable person for the flagbearership of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party and the only candidate who will give President Ernest Bai Koroma the run for his money.
Speaking to most Sierra Leoneans from all walks of life, Andrew Keili is the only SLPP aspirant on whom they prefer to entrust the leadership of this country, after the manner in which the Government of President Ernest Bai Koroma and his APC have wrecked our economy and continuously creating untold hardship on the people of this nation.
After close monitoring of the flagbearership campaign, most people are with the view that with the vast experience Mr. Keili has in the mining industry, his ability to serve this nation in the advisory council for over 10 years and his administrative manner in handling policies in both the Private and Public sector, he has the most resounding character to rule this nation.
He hailed from Kailahun District in the east, educated in one of the most renowned schools, if not the most renowned in the south. His wife also an educationist and owner of the Modern Elementary and Modern High schools hails from the north. His late father, the first Provincial Bishop of the Anglican Church in Sierra Leone and having worked at Sierra Rutile and in the western area commanded love and respect from many people as well as friends.
Most people not only within and outside the party but also at International level have rated Andrew Keili the beat among the rest after listening to the SLBC aired 19 days of the SLPP and hope that delegates will act wisely and chose Andrew Keili as their flagbearer.
