Hon. Lewally Launches Road Safety Campaign For Const.104

In line with his campaigned promises to his people, Hon. Alpha Babatunde Lewally has launched road safety  conducive  sanitary environmental condition in constituency 104.


The event which took place over the weekend at the Ginger Hall community saw different stakeholders from within the constituency and beyond addressing relevant issues about proper hygiene.

The theme for the launching was the important of road safety and conducive sanitary environmental condition in constituency 104.


In his address, the chairman of the ceremony Curtis Johnson cautioned his audience that the event is not a political gathering but one that is meant for development.
“Since I was born in this constituency, we didn't get such initiative to set up a system that will make the community free from diseases.”


APC constituency 104 chairman,  Sitta Kamara said the prosperity is what he sees as more time and anything that is developmental is prosperity. 
He added that the work Hon. Alpha Babatunde Lewally is doing is more than other MPs. 

Councilor of Ward 370 Alie Conteh explained that they came with drainage project for that ward which was supported by Goal. He went on to explained some of the good work done by the Jubilem Youth Organization.

According to him, the organization always stands for the community. He said he is proud of the Honourable who always stands by him to bring development to his Ward. He pointed that he is proud of the organization.

In his keynote address, Hon. Nuru Deen Yilla, Adviser to the President on Social Activities sad he is happy to be part of that very important occasion. 
Government, he went on is trying to ensure that they have water, good roads and electricity but just when they are working on that the Ebola came and reversed them.
‘’The Honourable in this constituency is directed by God. This is the good thing the people and executive members have done. From 2008 to now the Honourable has delivered,” he said. 
He said the safety campaign should start first from the home. He reflected on his school days what he was taught about road crossing.
He asked for two days workshop for the constituency which he said he will sponsor it for the children to be safe always when they want to cross the streets.

Hon. Nuru Deen Yilla encouraged the youth to do their job to the best of their ability. He said they should listen to their executive and that the entire membership should accept and respect their leaders.
“I will have to come back to see what you have done.”
To his audience he asked for them to support their organisation as most of the members don't have job.

Launching the campaign, Hon. Alpha Babatunde Lewally said his politics is for him to talk less and do what he wants to do. He thanked the youth development organisation for their developmental strides in that community.

 According to Hon. Alpha Babatunde Lewally, health was part of his campaign promises in 2008 for the parliamentary seat. Hon. Lewally also gave cleaning tools worth minions of Leones to Jubilem Youth Organization as party of his health free campaign.

“I will ensure that we continue the lighting system in the community. Soon 2 KVA generators will be given to the community to light the streets.”

The launching also saw the inauguration ceremony of Jubilem Youth Organization. Stockholders of that community gave their pledges and applauded the Honourable for his developmental striped to the constituency.
