In a launching ceremony that was well attended by current and past students of the school, Arnold Bishop Gooding, who launched the book noted that it is an attempt by the author to trace the root of a true Regentonian and that the book figure out the true identity of a Regentonian.
“Trace the Identity of a man and you will know a man. Trace the Identity of Regentonians and you will know the greatness of Regentonians” he averred.
He urged the audience to buy and read the book and make sure they keep some in their Libraries for future use. He described the book as the first school history book and that other schools will soon follow their footsteps in doing the same but his school always takes the lead.
Professor C. Magbaily Fyle, a celebrated Historian and author of the book stated that it makes him feel great in doing such work for a school that he acquired his education from and that the book will be used as a guide on how to run a successful school.
He stated that the book also shows that Grammar School was not just an institution of formal education but a place where they train young boys to men of substance and well discipline characters in the country.
