34-Year-Old Disable Imprisoned For Sexual Penetration

34-year-old, Abdul Karim Kamara (disable) was on Friday 5th May 2017 refused bail and locked-up on one count charge of sexual penetration Contrary to section 19 of the sexual offences act No.12 of 2012.

Court files revealed that the accused on Monday 20th February 2017 at Patton Street, East-End of Freetown sexually penetrated a girl below the age of 18 to wit 12 years.

Sitting Magistrate of Freetown, Siaka Steven Street Magistrate Court No.1, Magistrate Dr. Abu Bakarr Binneh Kamara while presiding over the said matter expressed concern over the increase of Sexual penetration matters in his court.

Magistrate Binneh explained that over the past two months there are too many sexual penetration matters and that it is very worrisome to continue having such scenario.

Abdul Karim Kamara (accused) was incarcerated at the Freetown Pademba Road Correctional center whilst his matter adjourned to the 13th May 2017 for further hearing.
