africell Ring Back Tone Excites subscribers
Subscribers of Sierra Leone number one GSM operator africell have expressed joy and satisfaction over the africell fun ring.
The service which was launched a year ago provides subscribers a way to express their emotions to their callers through their phone.
According to the subscribers the advance service the company has added made the service more exciting. “Conventionally my callers used to hear a boring ring tone when they call me. Now with africell fun ring, the boring old tone has been replaced with any music I like my callers to hear when they dial my number,” said Fanta Koroma.
The company recently reached the third stage of this service by opening 443 dial codes for free customers service to assist subscribers. This service is now enjoyed by most subscribers especially those that cannot read or write.
Some subscribers say they have no doubt over africell creativities in the country. According to them since africell's inception in the country the services and promotions they offer are absolutely different from the others.
Staff of africell customer care said the company is here to provide quality services for the people of this country, through that he said they always cover the needs of their subscribers. Part of the needs they said is entertainment which most subscribers likes.
According to the staff phase one of the services was the 444 voice calls which have the instructions to browse the music categories and to set a song as your africell fun ring which cost 10 units per minute or the SMS to 442.
The second phase they went on informs subscribers about the launch of 443 service which will assist them to activate their ring back tone service.
And the third phase they stated subscribers can call 443 for free for customer care staff to activate the ring back tone for them with music of their choice.
“One unique difference of the 443 service is that it eases the burden of subscribers and it is also lessens cost. Just call 443 and tell us the music you want, in a matter of minutes it will be activated on you phone” the staff said.
According to the staff, the service also helps to promote tracks of the country's local artistes. “This service will help our caller to listen to good tracks from our local musical artists,”
They disclosed that very soon they will add more songs that will suit every subscriber. “443 is a discount line. So there is a need for you to be part of the service”
The service brings more fun to subscribers as some do not want others to pick up their call even because of the fun ring in his or her phone. Some at times praise one for his or her tone while some ask for a change of the tone. Some subscribers say the tone they activate is to send message to their callers.
