LICCSAL Mass Comm. Student Breaks Ground At NCTVA Exams

It was a land mark victory for the Mass Communication Department of LICCSAL Business College as the first distinction student emerged. 
One of the Lecturers of that Department Hassan Kamara disclosed in a press conference held at the College campus past Thursday 3rd September 2015 that one of its students Isabella P. Cassel that sat to the NCTVA exams came out with distinction.
Mr. Kamara said out of 20 students sent to takwww.facebook.com/tracenews247e the exams, one came out with a distinction; four with credits and the rest had passes.

He pointed out that they normally emphasize on discipline to make students do well in their various courses. He said all students sent for external exams have always come out successfully.

The Head of Mass Communication Department, Ibrahim Ahmed Bangura recalled that LICCSAL Business College was founded in 2000 with 18 students. The college, which can now boast with over five hundred students, has been very much committed to providing quality education that makes students become entrepreneurs and professionals in other careers in development.

Mr. Bangura revealed that the Independent Media Commission has provided them with a license to operate a Teaching Radio Station. This, he said will help in the practical aspect of the Mass Communication Course, and that it will help young practicing journalists to become professionals.
He commended IMC for the speedy process to ensure that they got the license as they have been in that for over four years.

Another Lecturer, Alhaji K. Tarawallie pleaded with the National Telecommunications Commission to help them with a frequency in order to speed up the operations of the radio station.

He said it is very much essential for the student in the Mass Communication Department to put into practice aspects in their area of study.

Mass Communications Department Student, Isabella P. Cassel who has made her institution very proud said she was very excited for the successes scored. She described the college as the best. Cassel commended her lecturers and called on colleague students for their support. credit trace news
