Western Union 'Better Life' Promo Presents Prizes To 32 Winners
One of
Sierra Leone's money transfer services with a global brand Western Union (WU)
has presented prizes to winners in their just concluded promotion ‘Better
Life.'
Western
Union 'Better Life' promotion started on 1st April, 2017 and ended on 12th May,
2017 with a manual draw on Thursday 18th May, 2017 at the Charter House office,
16 Wellington Street, Freetown.

customers in the country who received and sent money through Western Union from
Union Trust Bank (UTB) and First International Bank (FIBank) were lucky to win
laptops, 3 in 1 scanners, printers and photocopiers, generators and sewing
machines and pieces of fabric.
Before
presenting the prizes to the winners, Western Union Advertising Agent, Charter
House Managing Director, Osman NabieuConteh disclosed that the Western Union
'Better Life' promotion is not only held in Sierra Leone but in the sub-region
including; Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Cape Vade, Guinea Bissau among others.
Osman
NabieuConteh congratulated the winners and said everyone has a dream which
Western Union is trying to actualize with its numerous customer as a way of job
creation with thirty-two customers, sixteen from UTB and sixteen from FIBank
who are the key players of rewarding those customers, adding, "by giving
them some fundamental equipment and logistics like laptops, 3 in 1 scanners,
printers and photocopiers, generators and sewing machines and pieces of fabric
which they could use to start a small business."
Osman
NabieuConteh disclosed that the objective of the promotion is to offer an
alternative source of income to customers; help make lives of customers little
better and reward them of the brand for their loyalty as the promotion will
lasted for six weeks.
He
recalled that in 2015 the Win A Kitchen Makeover where customers of Western
Union were given a kitchen makeover by winning a cooker, deep freezer,
microwave and blender and in 2016 customer won on the Win A Home Makeover an
LED TV and a home theatre system and 2016 the Western Union End of Year
Promotion of the Shopping Spree as one hundred and twenty customers won
nationwide shopping vouchers and shopping spree at the Choithram Supermarket,
Wellington among other promotions of rewarding loyal customers.
UTB
Western Union Supervisor, Milton Josephine Andrews congratulated the lucky
winners and encouraged them to continue to do business with Western Union that
transfer money internationally through UTB, noting, "Send and receive
money through Western Union and for better life".
She
admonished the lucky winners to utilize their winnings to transform their lives
and create jobs for others.
FIBank
Eileen Nelson-Streeter stated that Western Union is putting smiles on the faces
of customers and actualize their dreams for a better life.
Six each
won laptops 3 in 1 scanners, printers and photocopiers-three from UTB and three
from FIBank; ten each won generator five from UTB and five from FIBank; and sixteen each won sewing machines with two
pieces of fabric (lappas); eight from UTB and eight from FIBank.

Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) Daniel Moseary and Tejan Cole aka Mega
'Don'.
