TRACE has been looking for ways to take a leave of Freetown during the long holidays of recent times in our land but something held TRACE back. TRACE took the opportunity to move around the city during those holidays to see what is going on in the city. One thing that TRACE first discovered was that of the Freetown filth. The filth continues to raise its ugly head in the city and the politicians are doing nothing about it despite several suggestions by the experts. But this is not where TRACE wants to go today. From January to date, TRACE has been monitoring the way Sierra Leone politicians are handling issues of the state and TRACE has now realized that the politicians of the country have their loyalties. APC Neglects Them… Moeba Community Threatens To Reflect Their dissatisfaction In The Ballot Box

The community meeting which took place on Sunday 28 th May, 2017, brought different stakeholders together to map out developmental strategies for their community. During a press conference at the party’s headquarters in Freetown on Friday 2 nd June 2017, the APC Secretary General Ambassador Osman Yansaneh announced resolutions of their June 1st NAC Meeting. Jane Peters Drops Debut Single ‘Massa Keh’

One of Sierra Leone latest and finest artist and entrepreneur, Jane Peters during a maiden media engagement releases her debut single title ‘Massa Keh’. The released took place at the cube restaurant in Freetown on Thursday 25 th  May 2017. Speaking to the press, Jane Peters said she has being singing for as long as she can remember her name. Jane Peters explained that she studied music for about 3 years at the BALANTA Academy of music in correspondence with the Royal School of Music in the U.K. according to her she is a professional musician. For Lack Of Evidence… Alleged Murderer Might Go-Free

After spending 3 months in custody without any tangible evidence against his case, Magistrate Binneh Kamara might discharge an alleged murderer for lack of evidence on the next adjourned date. Lamin Sesay alias Omback, was summoned before the court on 2 count charges ranging from conspiracy to murder contrary to section 11 of the offences against the persons act of 1861 and murder contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone. Lamain Sesay was accused of conspiring with other Persons unknown to commit a felony to wit murder between the 4 th to 6 th June 2015 at Ecowas Street, Lightfoot Boston Street in Freetown. It was also alleged that the accused person on Saturday 6 th June 2015 at the same place in Freetown murdered Saidu Kamara alias Jamica. The matter was prosecuted by inspector Hawa Bah and police prosecutors had promised to present evidence on 16 th May 2017 a day slated for next hearing of the said matter. 34-Year-Old Disable Imprisoned For Sexual Penetration

34-year-old, Abdul Karim Kamara (disable) was on Friday 5 th May 2017 refused bail and locked-up on one count charge of sexual penetration Contrary to section 19 of the sexual offences act No.12 of 2012. Court files revealed that the accused on Monday 20 th February 2017 at Patton Street, East-End of Freetown sexually penetrated a girl below the age of 18 to wit 12 years. Sitting Magistrate of Freetown, Siaka Steven Street Magistrate Court No.1, Magistrate Dr. Abu Bakarr Binneh Kamara while presiding over the said matter expressed concern over the increase of Sexual penetration matters in his court. Magistrate Binneh explained that over the past two months there are too many sexual penetration matters and that it is very worrisome to continue having such scenario.
