In line with his celebration of 20 years of active music ministry, the Living Hope Records is pleased to present Pastor Alim Sesay in launching a new music Album entitled ‘God’s Best.’ The launching of the album which will be graced by eminent men of God will take place on the 12 th and 13 th December. On the 12 th December, 2015 it will be a VIP show at the Miatta Conference Hall and on the 13 th December, 2015 at the Sanctuary Praise Church, starting at 5:00 PM respectively. Entrance is for one to buy a CD. The live concert is first of it kind as some of Sierra Leone finest artist such as Emmerson Bockarie and Makie Scott among other top gospel artists will be in full attendance.

Bah “I Akintayo Humphrey Sam-Jolly, chosen Bishop of Christ’s Holy Church, in the Name of Jesus Christ, who is God Almighty, solemnly declare that I do believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the Word of God, and to contain all things necessary to salvation; and I do solemnly engage to conform to the doctrine, discipline and worship of this Church”.  This was the exact declaration of Bishop Apostle Akintayo Sam-Jolly in the sight of all present during a colorful consecration on Sunday the 29 th   November 2015 at the Living Word of Faith Outreach Ministries International (LWFOMI) in Freetown.

The defending champion of the Sierra Leone Cricket Association {SLCA} Mid-West CC on Saturday registered a vital victory against their arch rivals Police CC at the POW School field with 1 wicket. Mid-West won the toss and allows Police to bat first.  The Mid-West players gave tight fielding to the Police batmen squeezing them to score only 112 runs in 19.1 overs. The Mid-West bowlers gave out 31 extra runs with Bakarr making the highest runs [23] for Police and James Kamanoh with 10 runs.

Parents Want Missing Homosexual Son Dead

Mr. and Mrs. Ade and Judith (parents) are frantically looking out for their son, Christian Smith, who since he left home on 15th March 2015, has not been seen and are afraid that he might have been assaulted for openly declaring that he is a homosexual. What has compounded Christian Smith’s predicament is that his parents, who are pious Christians and hold senior positions in the church, want him dead for bringing disgrace to the family for which they are offering prayers and fasting for God to eliminate him from the face of the earth.

Presenting the items at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown over the weekend, Ibrahim Bangura, Maria’s Coordinator said Maria was shocked by the news. Ibrahim Bangura reflected on some of the activities of Maria in Sierra Leone such as her tremendous help in the fight against ebola.

Hey! How are you guys doing? TRACE, as promised in the previous edition, is still hanging around the Aberdeen Beach where events are unfolding. Aberdeen is a tourist area that has drawn lots of people from all walks of life.  For about a week now the demolition of make shift structures has been going on by the National Tourist Board an d the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs. TRACE in his wisdom has not relented but stayed along this area to get a clear picture of what is actually going on.  When asked out of the beach area, some people refused to leave claiming that Government did not give them seed money to start life in the provinces where they came from. While some are requesting for transportation to return to their former communities outside Freetown. LICCSAL Mass Comm. Student Breaks Ground At NCTVA Exams

It was a land mark victory for the Mass Communication Department of LICCSAL Business College as the first distinction student emerged.  One of the Lecturers of that Department Hassan Kamara disclosed in a press conference held at the College campus past Thursday 3rd September 2015 that one of its students Isabella P. Cassel that sat to the NCTVA exams came out with distinction. Western Area Gets Africell 3,750 Kilos Of Rice

The leading GSM operator in Sierra Leone Africell yesterday 16th September presented the first set of donation of 3,750 kilos rice in the second consignment of food provision to the Ministry of Health and Sanitation for onward delivery to Ebola epicenters, quarantined communities and other areas significantly affected by the Ebola epidemic. The presentation was done at the Western Area District Medical Center at Cline Town. In his presentation to the District Medical Officer on behalf of Management and staff of africell, Africell Media Relation Supervisor, Tommy Terry Coker said the presentation was in line with the initiative launched by africell Chief Executive Officer, Shadi Gerjawi on 19th August 2014, to set aside Le1.00 (one Leone) for every minute spoken on the Africell network; to be used to provide food provision as part of the company’s continuing support to the Ebola campaign. As experts call for no sex for Ebola patients… SLAJ President calls on Journalists to fight Ebola as a national service

The President of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) Kelvin Lewis has called on Journalists to consider the call for help from the Ministry of Health and Sanitation on the Ebola outbreak as a call for national service. He made this call at a one day orientation on Ebola for Journalists organized by SLAJ and the Ministry of Health and Sanitation at the Grass Groot Empowerment Movement (GGEM) on Wednesday 16th July 2014. He asked all journalists, to use their pens, microphones and computers to help fight the Ebola various, he added that Journalists should place strict attention to the outbreak. Some officers of the Sierra Leone Police Force were recently indicted in mob justice after an alleged criminal was beaten by three OSD officers TRACE NEWS has learnt that on Thursday 3rd July 2014 a total number of three OSD personnel who were fully dressed in their uniforms allegedly tortured Ade Manneh of 15 Settra Kroo Street because someone told them that he has stolen 20 Million Leones. According to report, Chernor Kamara and his brother Ibrahim Kamara accused Ade Manneh of stealing the sum of Twenty Million Leones at their resident 7 Conteh Drive Tengbeh Town.
