I n less than six months, the much trumpeted flight that was flying direct from London to Freetown, Fly Salone has been grounded. The lead prosecutor Brenda J. Hollis, in the CDF war convict Moina Fofana matter has told the Residual Special Court for Sierra Leone that there are evidences to show that Monia declared for the All Peoples Congress (APC) Party in Makeni. Brenda J Hollis made this statement on Friday 18 th March 2016 at the Commercial fast track court Government Wharf in Freetown she noted that war convict made this declaration during the APC Youth Conference in March in Makeni Northern Sierra Leone. The Alliance for All Aspirants (AAA) of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party has said that the alliance stands for constitutionality. This is how one of the intending presidential aspirants of the SLPP Andrew Keili broke the news to his audience in Bo city. “The alliance stands for constitutionality, the alliance is not against anybody. Anybody that wants to join the alliance today needs to go by the rules which is the constitution.”

S chool children of Mari Primary School, Polio Community (MPSPC) Grafton has benefited from learning materials worth millions of Leones.  The donation which took place at the school ground last week by Maria Coordinator Ibrahim Bangura brought lot of joy to the teachers, parents and the children. The defending champion of the Sierra Leone Cricket Association {SLCA} Mid-West CC on Saturday registered a vital victory against their arch rivals Police CC at the POW School field with 1 wicket. Mid-West won the toss and allows Police to bat first.  The Mid-West players gave tight fielding to the Police batmen squeezing them to score only 112 runs in 19.1 overs. S ierra Leone Finest Performing Artist, Entertainer, Musician And Model Mariatu Kargbo has thrilled the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.   Mariatu kargbo, has been involved in tours around the world and now she is in New York City in the United States as the only African artist invited to perform at the 70 years anniversary of the United Nations.

Sierra Leone finest performing artist, entertainer, musician and model Maria Kargbo has donated to the Freetown flood victims . Presenting the items at the Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown over the weekend, Ibrahim Bangura, Maria’s Coordinator said Maria was shocked by the news. Ibrahim Bangura reflected on some of the activities of Maria in Sierra Leone such as her tremendous help in the fight against ebola.

Aberdeen is a tourist area that has drawn lots of people from all walks of life.  For about a week now the demolition of make shift structures has been going on by the National Tourist Board an d the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs. It was a land mark victory for the Mass Communication Department of LICCSAL Business College as the first distinction student emerged.  One of the Lecturers of that Department Hassan Kamara disclosed in a press conference held at the College campus past Thursday 3rd September 2015 that one of its students Isabella P.
